Community councils are a statutory consultee in the planning process.

Craigleith/Blackhall Community Council planning group studies the weekly list of planning applications received by the Council.

As a rule we do not comment on applications which might be classed as "home improvements" to existing properties but instead look at applications which are larger in scale.

Applications or planning consultations which our planning group feel should be brought to your attention are listed below, this does not mean however that we will be making a submission on the application. If you feel that they have missed a relevant application or that we should be taking action over a listed application please contact us using the menu tab above.

Every week the Council publishes a list of planning application and decisions.
